Sunday at The Star

Me and my family love to eat out, and nothing is better than a roast dinner on a Sunday.

We visited The Star at Cotton one Sunday in February and were welcomed by Emma, Ryan and their team. The open fires were roaring as we walked in just after 12 noon and we were soon seated at our table in the bar area.

With a wide range of beers, wines, cocktails and more, there was plenty of choice as there is with the Sunday food menu too. In our group we had a variety of items from the menu, and everything was cooked to perfection.. Roast Beef still pink in the middle, crispy but fluffy roast potatoes and fresh vegetables, what more could you ask for?

Once we had eaten our mains, desserts were

then offered and there was plenty to choose from. We opted for the Hazelnut Mousse and the Salted Caramel Bar. With presentation you would expect from a Michelin Star Restaurant, and flavours to match, we were delighted. As a very busy pub, I would highly recommend booking in advance as quite regularly they are full to capacity. The team at The Star couldn't have done more for us if they tried, and we will be back again very soon!
